• To discover local businesses that accept Pi and interact with them, highlighting the practical application of Pi in everyday commerce. This event is designed to reflect Pioneer feedback. Over 80,000 Pioneers responded to the Pi Commerce survey within 24 hours. In it, Pioneers expressed their desire to conduct peer-to-peer transactions directly and requested new features for this purpose.
• To launch Pi Commerce and create an iterative blueprint for the future of the Pi Network. Building utility is a key goal of the network’s Enclosed Mainnet phase, and in this event, Pioneers and merchants will contribute together to this effort.

How to Participate in PiFest

To participate in PiFest, please follow these steps:

1. Download the Pi Network app and create an account. The app can be obtained here.
2. On the home screen announcement, find the link to the official Pay with Pi event flyer. Download and print the flyer. It’s the circled part below.



3. Merchants who accept or wish to accept Pi should display the flyer in their store and post photos to the #PiCommerce channel on the Fireside Forum, which opens on December 4th, or on their own social media channels.
4. Pioneers visit stores where they find the Pay with Pi flyer and shop. They can conduct easy and secure peer-to-peer transactions using the Pi QR code feature.
